Guest: District Governor's Visit
ATTENDANCE: Silvana Buccianti, Virginia Johnson, Harold Kawalek, Rev. Dorothy Patterson, Dr. McGeehan, Donna Trimblett, Dr. Gwen Giannina, Harriet Grodberg
This meeting was a working meeting the following was dicussed:
Past member Donald Cymbor passed away member agreed to send a $50.00 donation to the Gift of Life in his name.
We also discussed and agreed upon sending a $50.00 donation to the Gift of Life for Dawn Herrings sister Cheryl
We went over the Governor's visit questions he will be asking like Details of the Club and number of members
Hal proposed that we donate $240.00 to Operation Smile an organization that assist children with mouth surgeries. Dr Gwen also stated that there is another group called Smile Train.
Taste of Bayonne @ The Bayonne Museum we discussed the challenges we are facing which is the donation of gifts. Dr. Mcgeehan stated that she will collect cash donations and shop for items for gift baskets. Dr Gwen is donating dental basket items and a donation to Dr. Mcgeehan to shop.
Virginia to send emails with restaurants. She also suggested that each member sell at least 3 tickets
Virginia also proposed that we no long do the card draw raffle . Pros and cons of this proposal were discussed and that the raffle would not be a raffle anymore it would be just a donation. No decision has been made.
We would like BHS students to come once a month to the meetings

Rotary signs to be purchased from special projects fund. Signs to be placed at the Turnpike entrance and Bayonne Bride walkway entrance.Signs need to be purchased from the District.

On June 20, 2020 we will have our 100th Anniversary Celebration at the Chandelier. Dr. Patsy McGeehan is Chairperson and Cindi is Co-Chair. We will need help on various committees. I encourage every member to be on the committee where their skills will be best put to use. Further details to follow.
