Cindi Spoke of the Mental Health Symposium that was held on September 23, 2021 via Facebook Live.   The panelists were Mike Stanlaw from Stanlaw fitness, Victor Llerena from Journey Counseling, Emerita Vadjejo from Journey Counseling and Brian Nady from BN Counseling.  The turnout was great we had 20 viewers on the page.  Each panelists went over different scenarios regarding Mental and Physical Health during the pandemic. The symposium was very informative.  

Cindi met with Mayor Davis regarding the Trex Bench we want to donate.  The Mayor and DPW Director Tom Cotter stated that they are unable to place the bench in the City’s parks because it cannot be bolted down.  They did suggest if we wanted to put a Rotary Plaque on one of the benches at the park near City Hall, we can for a cost of $100.00 Members that were present agreed.  Cindi will speak with Pete Amadeo about placing the Trex bench at one of the senior centers.  It was also suggested that we can place the bench in the garden Peace Care St. Ann’s. 

Breast Caner Donation:

Cindi proposed that for Breast Cancer Awareness that we donate $2500.00 to the Madeline Fiadini Lo Re Foundation.  Three of our members sit on the board of the foundation.  With the donation they will place a plaque with our name on the wall of donations.  

Calendar Raffle was brought in front of City Council on September 22, 2021.  City Clerk office will send the application into the state to get a RL#.  Once received we can have the tickets printed and can be sold.
