PROGRAM: Sharon Flynn, our Assistant District Governor addressed our group. She apologized that we did not see her last year because she had a rough year. She welcomed all of us to the 2019-2020 Rotary year. Sharon informed us that the District Governor's visit to our club will be in October and she would like to attend a Board Meeting to help us prepare. She reminded us that we must have an International and District project. This year the District is suggesting that we collaborate with other service clubs, i.e., Elks, Lions. She also asked each member to contribute $100 per year to the Rotary Foundation. Sharon reminded us that new membership is the key! Sharon looks forward to fellowship with us this year.
President's Corner:
Virginia welcomed all us to the 2019-2020 Rotary Year and reminded us that we are to continue to follow our motto of "Service Above Self" in all that we do.
On July 23rd, our next meeting, we will meet at BoHo Bookshop located at 164 Broadway @ 7:30 a.m. Maureen will send a memo for breakfast. We must have your response by July 18th.
