This meeting was a working meeting several topics were discussed
Read Across America-In Honor of Dr. Seuss-Mary J. Donohoe School
40 students participated in the first annual event which will be rotated among different schools
Guest Readers included Tommy Coughlin from BCB, Sandra Dear from The Little Boho Book Store and Superintendent Niesz.
Bayonne High School Interact students did face painting on the children
The club provided Dr. Seuss books and BCB and The Little Boho Bookstore provided additional giveaways
Extra books will be used for the 2021 event
Cindi will speak with Steve Lenox at Tap into Bayonne to do a write up on his page about the event
New Member Orientation
March 7, 2020 Virginia is planning on attending asked if other members will join her
New member packets to be updated with new information from the workshop.
The invitation to Join The Bayonne Rotary brochure will be updated and distributed
President Elect Training
March 19-21 Virginia and Cindi plan to attend
Interact Conference
March 18, 2020 Hasbrouck Heights, NJ-Nicole Sexton plans to attend with Interact students.
Requested donation is $20.00 per student
St Patrick's Day Parade
March 22, 2020 Line up is at 12:30 and parade starts at 1PM;
Club members volunteered to walk, Carol, Harriet, Virginia and Rev. Patterson.
Interact students will be invited to walk with Rotary To be discussed with Nicole Sexton.
Trip to Guyana
Rev. Patterson is leaving on March 10, 2020 for Guyana to follow up on the Water Well Project
Members donated $5 each for toothbrushes, toothpaste, socks, soap and a washcloth for students in Guyana
Dr. Gwen volunteered to donate toothbrushes and toothpaste
Paint Night
April 28, 2020 @ The Vic Tavern with City Girl Paints
The Vic is donating finger foods, water, soda and sangria

Citizenship Award Banquet
June 2, 2020 Along with Citizenship awards we will be giving out the scholarship award.
Was suggested that we open the scholarship to ALL Bayonne residents including those attending Hudson Catholic and St. Peters's Prep
Centennial Gala
Cindi is finalizing the letters for sponsorship and tickets
Other
Donna will schedule the visit to the 4th Street Street Senior Center for later this month
Installation Dinner to take place June 23, 2020 @ our evening Meet and Greet
Social Media/Publicity Consultant
Sidney Orlando has been hired her first tasks include updating Facebook, Website and the brochure
She will attend at least one meeting per month preferably when there is a guest speaker.

On June 20, 2020 we will have our 100th Anniversary Celebration at the Chandelier. Dr. Patsy McGeehan is Chairperson and Cindi Sisk-Galvin is Co-Chair. We will need help on various committees. I encourage every member to be on the committee where their skills will be best put to use. Further details to follow.
