Upcoming Events:
CASA Children's Book drive is being held. Books can be dropped off at Cindy's Office 168 Broadway Bayonne, NJ. Also Little BoHo Bookstore is offering 10% off any book that you buy for the Book Drive.
The Book drive is also extended into Hoboken at Little City 100 Bloomfield Street Hoboken, NJ and The Monroe Center (Dr. Michael and Lisa Russo) 720 Monroe Street Hoboken, NJ

Rotary is partnering with several businesses for a Toy Drive to benefit Bayonne Special needs and Jersey City Special Needs students.
Christmas Concert December 10, Nicholas Oresko School @ Villa Maria BCB is purchasing T-Shirts for all the students. BBOED will provide the milk and Carol Trojan will bake the cookies. Each child will receive a gift.
Scott Reddin- District Governor discussed the following:
Spoke about how clubs do not really need a DG as long as they are doing what they should be.
Mentioned our Human Trafficking Event and how well attended and informative it was.
District Meetings once a month will rotate between counties. There will be 4 meetings in Passaic, Hudson and Essex.

Champions of Peace- 3 individuals that have been worked on it will no longer be doing it. Looking for volunteers to help organize the event.
Bonnie Sirower is having brain surgery keep her in your prayers.
Merger-Consolidation District 7490
We will loosing our District status
We were rejected by Rockland County to merge
Our District will merge with District Region New Jersey in 1 1/2 years
We will be part of Region New Jersey which is the largest in North America 10th in the world.
This will not effect the clubs, each club should continue to do what they have been doing at their club levels.
PETS-President Elect Training is the 3rd week in March in Hanover, NJ
District Conference is in Hershey Park April 4th-6th 2025. It is a family friendly event. you will receive discounts for parks, events and museum.
