The meeting was called to order at 7:37 a.m. by Club President Carl Biscaldi. The following items were discussed:
President’s Report:
Dr. Noah’s event has been postponed due to weather.
Rescheduled Date: February 24, 2026 at Winners 6:30 p.m. In conjunction with Bayonne Chamber of Commerce
Dine Around: The dine around at Taverna was a great success the Club received $661.00 Carl thanked all who attended. The next Dine Around is 2/16/2026 at El Aguila Dorada ro 5PM to 8PM.
Kisses for Cadets: This was a well attended event. Rotarians and Interact Students with the new advisor Kerry Kleinstein were also there.
Carl, Melissa, Olivia and Cindi met with the new Ineract advisor Kerry Kleinstein. They spoke about the Club and upcomng events they can participate in. The Water well Fundraisers were also discussed.
Scholardships: The letters will be going out the first week of March.
Easter Baskets for seniors: Checking the dates with St. Ann's Peace Care.
Elks Karen Minutella Reading Initiative: March 6, 2026 if interested reach out to Carl to be added to the list.
Champions of Peace: Nominationations are coming up. Forms will be sent out to membership. Cindy will send the form to Carl.
Golf Outing: The date is set for May 7, 2026. Just Bob has been confirmed for music. The prices are as follows: $150- Per Golfer, $500- Foursome, $50.00-Dinner Only. T-Signs prices tbd. We need 36 golfers to have the course to ourselves. Carl's boss will send out the flyer to the Skyway membership.
