Guest Speaker: There was no guest speaker today we used this meeting as a working meeting.
This meeting was used as a working meeting. Below are the subjects discussed at this meeting.
Silvana discussed the Recycle Program. We have already collected in total 147 pounds of plastic. we need 353 more pounds and have 106 days to complete the goal of 500 pounds.
Diaper and wipe drive will run until the end of May. You can drop off your donation at any BCB location and to Rosemary Kellners Allstate office.
Scholarships: Carol stated that there have been no submissions for the scholarship. Peggy Capodice reached out to all the schools and will keep us updated.
Champion of Peace Honorees have been selected the recipients are Judith Kawalek and Dr. Levine.
Presidents Ball will be held June 9, 2021 @ Seasons Catering 644 Pasack Rd. Washington Township, NJ from 6:00-10:00 PM. The cost is $95.00 per person
Installation Dinner is set for June 29, 2021 @ The Chandelier Restaurant 6:00 PM. We ask that each member purchase 2 tickets whether they attend or not.
50/50 Raffle tickets: The application went in front of City Council on May 12, 2021 we are waiting for the RA# to have tickets printed. The cost is $25.00 per ticket and we ask each member to sell at least 10.
Cindi presented Michele Mount from Peace Care 1 robotic dog and 1 robotic cat. Michele stated that these pets make the residents feel more comfortable especially the one who have had pets in the past.
