Read Across America
- March 1st is Read Across America. Rotary has remaining Dr. Suess books from our last Read Across America event. Rotarians will read to the classes from 9:30 AM-10:30 AM
- Each class will receive the book that was read, Dr. Suess pencils for each student and a box of cookies for the class as well.
- Books, pencils and cookies will be given to the readers 2 days prior of the event.

Champions of Peace
We need 2 honorees for the Champion of Peace Award. It was discussed and agreed upon that Pete Amadeo- Director of Bayonne Recreations will be awarded. We still need one more, members were asked to give any and all suggestions for a nominee.
Chess Tournament
The Rotary Club will donate the trophies for the Chess Tournament. We are waiting on a date and time to present the trophies. Cost of Trophies was $481.00
Easter Baskets
We will be donating Easter Basket to the Bayonne BEOF. It was discussed and agreed upon that will provide 50 Easter Baskets through the help of The Rotary Club, donations and Nicole Sexton has offered to do a collection of candy with her Interact students.
Collection for families in need
Rotary will partner with BEOF to donate items for families in need.
Diaper and Wipe Drive
There will be collection of diapers and wipes to donate to The Woman's Rising for Mother's Day. Date, time and drop off locations TBD.
