GUEST SPEAKER: Our guest speakers today were Victoria, Marist High School Interact President and Nicole Sexton, BHS Interact Advisor.
Victoria informed the club of the many activities that are going on with Marist Interact. There have been several fund-raisers to support various projects. They currently have $300 in their account. They will be making care packages for police officers to say thank you for keeping their school safe. They are working with CarePoint to provide care packages for geriatric paitents. Their international project is a collaboration with a group called Compassion to provide funds for vaccines, food, etc. They will also be supporting Gwen's project for feeding the hungry in Haiti. Bayonne High School Interact has been working with animal rescue groups in Bayonne and Jersey City. Their international project is for a Children's Cancer Care Hospital in Egypt. She will bring Gwen's project to her members.
