GUEST SPEAKER: Our guest speaker today was former Rotarian and Past President Cathy Laszkow. Cathy spoke about Rotary "back then". She was our club's second female president (Ginger Kemp was the first). Our club started meeting at the Hi-Hat for lunch and then moved to the Chandelier for breakfast. Many of our current activities had been started back in the day, i.e. Chess Club, Gift of Life, RYLA and Hometown Fair. Cathy is currently the Senior Development Officer for Investors Bank. Melissa extended an invitation to rejoin our club. We thank Cathy for taking the time to reminisce with us this morning.
PRESIDENT'S CORNER:
Our next fundraiser will be the Pocketbook Bingo on April 24th to be held at the Mason Hall. We are still waiting for the permit from the State but in the meantime ask friends/family/colleagues to "Save the Date". The cost will be $30 per person.
