Trex Recycle Program:
  • We have collected 70 pounds of plastic
  • 430 pounds needed in the next 5 months 
  • Please ask family and friends to participate
  • Donna and Cindi will do drop offs every 2 weeks 
  • Drop off locations: Union, NJ, Woodbridge, NJ, Staten Island, NY and East Rutherford, NJ 
  • Rev, dorothy Patterson offered to hold the plastics in her warehouse until we can do a drop off 
Installation Dinner:
  • Reserved The Chandelier for June 29, 2021 @ 6:00 PM Menu TBD
  • Tickets are $75.00 we ask each member to sell 2 tickets 
  • There will be a raffle for $25 per ticket we also ask each member to sell 10 tickets
  • Tickets can not be printed until we receive the RA#. You can still sell the tickets before then and distribute when the tickets are available 
Other: 
  • Citizenship awards- Peggy Capodice sent Donna the names of the recipients 
  • Donna will work with Bridge Awards to have the medals printed 
  • Woman"s Rising: We are going forward with diaper and wipes collections.  The locations will be 4 BCB branches and we will ask Rosemary Kellner if we can use her office as a drop off location as well

  • Acknowledged Bayonne Rotary's 100th Year Anniversary  and how it could not be recognized that due to the Covis-19 pandemic 
  • Suggested we reach out to Hackensack Rotary they will celebrating their 100th Anniversary this year and maybe we can join and celebrate our 101th Anniversary 
Goals:
  • We have 24 active members, 2 new members Stephen Stamos and Ryan Blake 
  • District is asking that we invites family members, partnerships, spouse, children and siblings to join
  • Mid-Bergen increased membership from 17 to 23.  Their first month with partnerships the received 7 new members 
  • They also started a Satellite Club in which they have 34 members .  They are 3 members away from Chartering  The Governor also stated that will be beneficial to our clubs membership 
Service Goals:
  • The goal for each club is 10 Service Projects per year
  • Cinsi advised the Governor that we have completed over 10 service projects this year.  He advised that they will not count unless they are put into MyRotary under Service Projects
Other: (Governor)
  • Governor spoke in regards to the Disaster Relief that Rotary International provided for the flooding in Texas, North Carolina, Louisiana  and Bahamas
  • Advised that we speak to our town for the plastic initiative.  he stated that getting the community involved will help us achieve our goal
  • Suggested that all member log into MyRotary frequently to see District updates and programs on the learning center
  • District Conference will be held this year in the Bahamas.  DG Carl Hassett will attend.  Only registered disaster aid relief members will be able to attend
  • DG named Stephen Stamos the District Photographer 
  • Presidents Ball is June 8, 2021 Detail will be given when available
