GUEST: Al Pasiechnik - BCB Community Bank
PROGRAM: Our guest speaker today was Al Pasiechnik. Al's topic was a new website "The Bayonne Experience". This is a website where anyone can go to get information on events around town, restaurants, businesses, etc. Al said it is basically a glorified phonebook. There will be links to businesses and NO gossip. This is a joint venture with the City of Bayonne, BCB Community Bank and the Chamber of Commerce. An administrator for the site will be selected from one of the above. The website is TheBayonneExperience.com. Our club has been asked to join in this effort and we will appear on the main page. A fundraiser, Taste of Bayonne, is planned for sometime in the Spring. There will be a band, restaurants will donate food and Al is working on a wine vendor. The launch of the website will take place this event. We have been asked to help with this fundraiser and we will benefit from profits. We thank Al for joining us this morning and sharing this exciting information with us.
