We had 2 guest today Melissa Newman from BCB and Jacqueline Weimmer from Comerica Wealth Management.  Both ladies are interest in joining our club... 

 

We are donating 115 Easter Baskets to the BEOF.  All baskets have been completed and are ready for pick up.  Cindi thanked all the Rotarians that donated money, candy and time to make this possible.  Cindi will reach out to BEOF for a delivery date and time.

 

Art Night at Kuhl's Tavern was a success.  we had 32 attendees and it did not cost Rotary anything.  Cost of the tickets were $45 and we received $10.00 for each ticket sold which gave us a profit of $320.00.

 

Journal Ad: 

The Rotary Club has taken a Journal ad for BEF donation for Teacher of the Year.

 

From now until Mother's Day we will be collecting Diapers and wipes for Women's Rising.  Drop off locations will be BCB locations (TBA) and Rosemary Kellner's Allstate office 315 Broadway Bayonne, NJ. 

 

This year will be only have one Champion of Peace Sandra Dear from The Little BoHo Book Store in Bayonne.  We chose Sandra for all that she has done for our community.  This year she has been hosting all the Pre-K classes at her store for Story Time and each child gets to choose 2 books to take home.  That is one of the many contributions she has given to our community. 

 

We will have a Citizenship Awards Breakfast on June 7, 2022 8:00 AM at the Chandelier Restaurant 1081 Broadway Bayonne, NJ.  It was also discussed that we may do Journal ads to help offset the cost of the breakfast. 

Installation Dinner: 

Installation dinner is scheduled for June 21, 2022 at 7:00 PM at the Chandelier Restaurant 1081 Broadway Bayonne, NJ.  Details to follow. 

 

RYLA 2022 will be held June 26, 2022 through June 30, 2022 at the Happiness is Camping Reservation in Hardwick, NJ.  The district will pay for 2 students from each club to participate.  Nicole Sexton and Kaitlin Hickey will choose the students. Deadline for reservation is April 15, 2022.
