PROGRAM:

Gene Woods, Bayonne Education Association President. He discussed his areas of focus such as a "Teacher of African American History, World History and facing History and ourselves. He is also a Certified Master Teacher in Holocaust Studies.

He participates in numerous community outreach activities
Spoke of the teachers meetings stated that are going well, teachers are more active and feel more comfortable
Christmas Tree lighting on November 26, 2019 will be providing cookies and coco.
Discussed Dr. Seuss Day details to follow
Stated that they get funding from NJAA and The Pride Program
Harriet Tubman movie to come out on November 1, 2019 will be taking students to see the movie
Expressed his willingness to join the Club in supporting on going activities in the community.

On June 20, 2020 we will have our 100th Anniversary Celebration at the Chandelier. Dr. Patsy McGeehan is Chairperson and Cindi is Co-Chair. We will need help on various committees. I encourage every member to be on the committee where their skills will be best put to use. Further details to follow.
