Cindy Guarini- President started the meeting at 7:41 AM. The following topics were discussed.
CASA Book Drive we met and exceeded our Goal of over 500 Books. Cindy thanked all that made this poplar and a special Thank You to Sandra Dear from Little BoHo Bookstore for organizing and keeping all the books in age-appropriate order.
Interact Advisor Nicole Sexton is planning a Pinning Ceremony at the High School date is TBD.
Janice Hall reached out to her contact Overseas for us to do an International Project. She has not received a reply so there is nothing to report right now. Once details become available she will share them with us.
Bayonne Rotary would like to sponsor Service Dogs for Veterans. We will work together with the Bayonne Elks to get Veterans. Once we have these Veterans there will be an interview for what they need. These Service Dogs will be trained for the specific needs of the chosen Veterans.

Dr. Anissa Reilly was a Elementary School Principle in her town fr 20 years. She now is an Emotional Intelligence Trainer and a trainer for John Maxwell. Below are some of the key notes that she provided regarding being a great leader.
The Language of the Lid- Everything we do rises and falls with leadership
Leadership is important in our own lives
Leadership can be taught and is predictable
Talent does not equal results, talent is never enough
Statistics shows that not all leaders were not great students in school. Some never graduated college and some never even graduated high school. That is proof that leadership can be taught at any level. 65% of CEO's of companies were just C students in school, 75% US Senators /Presidents were at the bottom of their classes and 50% dropped out and never went to college.

November 28, 2023: Evening Meeting- The Chandelier Restaurant 1081 Broadway Bayonne, NJ 6:00 PM. District Governor John Cosgrove will be attending this meeting we ask that if you are available please attend we would like to have as many Rotarians ass we can. Also, please feel free to bring a guest.
December 2, 2023- Christmas Luncheon 11:30 AM at The Chandelier Restaurant 1081 Broadway Bayonne, NJ. Lunch will be served by 12:00 PM and the Kindergarten Classes from Lincoln Community School will arrive at 12:45 to sing Christmas Carols and have a visit with Santa. There will be cookies, milk and a gift for each student.
